Royal Warrant

The Royal Warrants, issued by the Royal family attest to the great quality of a brand

A Royal Warrant of Appointment is granted as a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh or HRH The Prince of Wales or their Households.

The Monarch decides who may grant Royal Warrants. These are known as the Grantors.

Today HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and HRH The Prince of Wales grant Royal Warrants. Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother was also a grantor of Warrants.

The grant of a Royal Warrant gives a Warrant Holder nothing more than a right to display the Royal Arms and they are not entitled to claim or imply any exclusivity of supply.

Prestat is honored to have been granted two Royal Warrants since it was founded.

The first one was awarded in 1975 and was granted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II while the second one was granted in 1999 by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.

To this date Prestat still supplies The Royal Family with chocolate, and we are all incredibly proud and honoured by the Royal Patronage.
