The Royal Warrants
Being a Royal Warrant Holder is an honour for all of us here at Prestat. Since creating the first truffle in 1902, we have maintained our status as a heritage chocolatier for London's elite. From our time-honoured recipes, ethical supply chain, and our charity work, we have become synonymous with British prestige and heritage.
Prestat: A Legacy of Luxury
In 1975, Prestat earned its first Royal Appointment. We were, and are, the Royal Family’s chosen chocolatier, and we were granted a Royal Warrant by Her Majesty the Queen Mother.
It’s 1999, and Prestat had become the Queen Mother’s favourite chocolatier. So much so that she granted Prestat a second Royal Warrant.
It’s rumoured that the Queen Mother was a fan of Prestat's Mint Creams and always kept a Prestat Mint box in her desk.
A New Era: The Royal Warrant of His Majesty The King
As we look to the future, Prestat is profoundly honored to announce that our enduring relationship with the British Royal Family continues into a new era. We have been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment by His Majesty King Charles III.
This prestigious recognition is not only a celebration of our 120-year history of artisan truffle-making, but also a testament to our shared values. From our bean-to-bar traceability to our dedication to zero-waste practices and sustainable, slavery-free cocoa sourcing, this warrant reflects His Majesty's lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship. We are incredibly proud to remain the chosen chocolatier to the Crown, crafting ethical, premium chocolates that carry the ultimate stamp of British heritage and prestige.
