With wholehearted joy, we want to announce our partnership with Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
They provide specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children. Their network of nurses is 86 strong and they support over 32,000 children and young people, and their families. To aid them in this vital work, we’ll be collaborating on a series of projects together to help children lead more marvellous lives.
This partnership means so much to all of us here at Prestat. Joy giving is integral to our brand, team and the craft of our chocolate. Whether that’s a box of chocolates that brings a family together, or supporting the training and development of a Roald Dahl Nurse who has the magical ability of bringing joy to every child. The support Roald Dahl Nurses provide is emotional as well as clinical, and being able to support their wealth of talent and care is a source of pride and joy for us all.
This partnership has real heart too and we’ll be starting our new venture together with a series of thoughtful gifts. We will be sending festive chocolate gifts to all Roald Dahl Nurses across the UK, as well as a number of seriously ill children and families that the charity supports. This will include those attending a special event at Clarence House in December with the charity’s Royal Patron, Her Royal Highness The Former Duchess of Cornwall.
What’s More! We’ll be donating a percentage of our Black Friday Sales to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity too. Between Friday 25 November and Tuesday 29 November, we will be raising the prices of our delicious chocolates by £1. Every extra £1 we receive will be donated to support seriously ill children and their families. To top it all, we’ll be offering generous spirits the option to make a donation of their own at our online checkout.
