How do I place an order for a chocolate gift?
Simply browse our collection of luxury chocolates, add your chosen items to your basket, and proceed to our secure checkout. You can enter your delivery details, add a personal gift message, and complete your payment in a few easy steps.
Can I Order by Phone?
Not at the moment. If you need help placing an online order, email ecommerce@prestat.co.uk and we’ll guide you through the process.
Can I add a personal gift message?
Of course. At checkout, you will have the option to add a complimentary gift message. We will print it on an elegant notecard to ensure your chocolate gift is personal and thoughtful.
How do I know my gift note was added correctly?
When you enter your message in the designated gift note field during checkout, it is saved with your order and will be automatically included. While the note itself won't appear in your email confirmation, rest assured our team will print it on one of our elegant notecards and place it inside the parcel for a perfect gifting experience.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to make a change, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. We will do our best to help, but please note that once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to amend or cancel it.
Do you offer corporate or large-volume orders?

Shipping & Delivery
What are your shipping options and delivery times?
We offer several options for UK delivery, including Standard (2-4 working days) and Next Day services. All costs and estimated delivery times are clearly displayed at checkout. For full details, please see our Shipping Policy.
How do you ship chocolates in warm weather?
To ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, we use insulated packaging and coolant packs during warmer months at no extra cost. This protects the quality of our luxury chocolates during transit.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we are delighted to ship our British chocolates to customers around the world. International shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout. Please be aware that recipients are responsible for any local customs and import duties.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to the courier's website, allowing you to follow its journey.
What If My Order Says ‘Delivered’ But I Haven’t Received It?
If this happens, please email ecommerce@prestat.co.uk. Our customer service team will look into it and help resolve the issue.
Bespoke Orders and Personalized Chocolates
How do I build my own box of chocolates?
Simply choose your preferred box size on the "Build Your Own" page, select the number of chocolates, and proceed to checkout. Our store team will then carefully put your bespoke box together and ship it to you or your gift recipient. Please contact us if you need help choosing the perfect selection.

Customer Service
How can I contact your customer service team?

What is your returns policy?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. However, if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your order, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receipt, and we will be happy to assist you.
What should I do if there's an issue with my order?
If your order arrives incorrect, incomplete, or damaged, please contact us immediately with your order number and a photo of the issue if possible. Our team will work quickly to find a suitable solution for you.
I have an issue with a product I bought from another retailer. Can you help?
We encourage you to contact the point of sale (the retailer where you purchased the item) first, as they are best placed to resolve the issue. If you are unable to resolve it with them, please get in touch with our customer service team, and we will do our best to assist.
I received Prestat chocolates as a gift and have an issue with them. What should I do?

What are the benefits of creating a Prestat account?
Creating an account allows for a faster checkout process by securely saving your address and payment details. You can also view your full order history and manage your preferences easily.
How Do I Log In?
We’ve updated our account system. If you can’t log in, simply register again using your existing email address. Click the person icon in the top right of the website, sign up, and your old account information will automatically sync.
What If My Password Doesn’t Work?
First, try resetting your password using the ‘forgot password’ link. If that doesn’t work, set up a new account using the same email address, and your order history will still be restored.
How Do I Update Incorrect Details?
If your account shows the wrong name or details, email ecommerce@prestat.co.uk and our team will fix it for you.
Subscriptions
What are subscriptions?
A selection of our favourites is available for subscription, including Rose & Violet Creams, Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Thins, and our Jewel Collections. You can choose to have your order delivered every 30, 60, or 90 days. Subscribers save up to 10% on each recurring order and have the added benefit of never running out of your favourites.
How Do I Check or Manage My Subscription?
Simply log in to your Prestat account and click the ‘Manage Subscriptions’ link. From there, you can view, pause, cancel, or adjust the frequency of your subscription. If you would like to subscribe to a different product, you will need to place a new subscription order through the website.

A Royal Warrant of Appointment is a prestigious mark of recognition granted to companies that supply goods to the Royal Households. We are proud holders of a Royal Warrant as Purveyors of Chocolates by Appointment to His Majesty The King.
Where Are the Chocolates Made?
All our chocolates are crafted with premium ingredients. We’re proud to use award-winning Domori couverture chocolate, sourced responsibly from the Ivory Coast. Our chocolates are handmade in small batches in our London Chocolate Kitchen, where our chocolatiers transform Domori couverture into indulgent chocolates.
Wherever possible, we collaborate with other British businesses that share our passion for handcrafting chocolate to the highest standards.

Our Chocolates
What makes your luxury chocolates so special?
Our reputation is built on quality and heritage. As a historic British chocolate maker, we are proud to have created the first chocolate truffle in the UK. This legacy of innovation continues today, with chocolates that are crafted with care and presented with flair. Our truffles even inspired the author Roald Dahl.
Where are your products made?
We have been making chocolate in our chocolate factory in North Acton, London, since the 1990s, after outgrowing the on-site kitchen and artisanal production of our South Molton Street shop.
Where does the chocolate come from?
We’re proud to use award-winning Domori couverture chocolate, sourced responsibly from the Ivory Coast. We use other premium ingredients, sourced from the finest suppliers, in Britain and abroad.
How should I store my luxury chocolates?
To preserve their exceptional flavour and texture, your chocolates should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally between 15-18°C (59-64°F). We advise against refrigeration, as this can affect the fine finish of the chocolate.
What is the shelf life of your chocolates?
We guarantee that all products ordered from our website will have a 'Best Before' date of at least one month from the time of dispatch. The specific date is printed on each product's packaging.
However, we always recommend eating your chocolates as quickly as possible to enjoy them at their freshest (and who can resist eating chocolates anyway!). If you are ordering for a specific event or need your chocolates for a future date, we recommend contacting our customer service team to enquire about the shelf life of specific products before placing your order.
Where can I find allergen information?
Your safety is our priority. A comprehensive list of allergens is available on each product page and on the product's packaging. Please be aware that all our chocolates are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, gluten, and soya.
Are Any Products Safe for Nut Allergy Sufferers?
Unfortunately, no. Even items made without nuts are produced and packed in facilities that also handle nut-based products, so we cannot guarantee they are nut-free.
